Everybody needs a beautiful thank you card to send to people we're grateful for in our lives. This summer, I was inspired by the beach, being in business for my first year and the awesome people who helped me get there. This custom designed card is free for you to download and use either printed or digitally - as many times as you want to. Enjoy!
The process
The subtle lines, shadows and imperfections were important to capture in these sketches. I used a photo to trace the basic shape, and took liberties with the lines, textures and shapes inside the subject for better balance. I kept the color consistent, using the navy in my logo. The card itself was begging to be kept simple and honest. The result is a genuine, clean card, easy to use and send to someone you're grateful for.
How to print your card
Thank you for downloading the thank you card! Here are some tips if you choose to use the print ready version and send a handwritten note to a friend:
Use good paper
The quality of your paper is like the quality of your food - it's everything! Use a good quality matte cardstock to print your card from home.
Trim with precision
Carefully use an Exact-o knife and metal ruler to trim out your card using the crop marks as a guide. Don't forget to use a mat or piece of card board so you don't damage your counter.
Finish it right
Fold your card in half carefully. You can score the half way mark if you'd like. Lastly, use a quality 5"x7" envelope to send. You're going to make someone's day!
