Big Fish Co.
Quite the evolution from yoga studio to a brand all about coaching for creative business women
Big Fish Co. started in 2010 as a yoga and lifestyle brand. With two studio locations and a growing member base, Big Fish was known in the community as the best yoga studio and a beautiful, inspiring place curated by its passionate founder and facilitator, Mary Lyn Jenkins. Before it even became a physical place, Mary Lyn came to me with her vision. With that vision as the guiding light, I crafted the original Big Fish Power Yoga logo and visual identity. I designed several posters as well as merchandise to complement and further develop the brand.
In 2021, the brand was reimagined. Instead of relying on in person, yoga only classes, the brand has expanded to focus first and foremost on service - specifically service to creative business women. As a certified coach, interior designer, author, yoga teacher, mom and woman of great determination, high standards for herself and others, Mary Lyn combines all the things she loves to do into a thriving business coaching and lifting up creative business women.
Big Fish Co. now has the strategy and flexibility to not only weather a pandemic, but also, and more importantly to also serve and inspire so many people, so they can live up to their brand promise.
The new logo is exactly a representation of that, a hand supporting and serving, a sun representing optimistic vision, and a nod to the legacy logo with the fish that is energetic and empowered.
